Relaxation/Swedish Massage

 

Relaxation and Swedish massage uses five styles of long, flowing strokes to massage. The five basic strokes are sliding or gliding, kneading, rhythmic tapping, cross fiber and vibration/shaking. The intention of this type of massage is for stress and tension relief.

 

Deep Tissue Massage

 

Deep Tissue is a combination of  myofascial release, trigger point therapy, friction, compression, tension, shear and stretching. The intention of this type of massage is to target knots and releasing chronic patterns of tension.

 

Prenatal and Postpartum Massage

 

Prenatal massage focuses on the needs of the mother by relieving the discomforts of pregnancy. It enhances the relaxation experience and is an important practice before the birth experience

 

Postpartum massage within the first few weeks feels wonderful. It helps  bring the body in to it's pre-pregnancy alignment, by flushing the lactic acid out of the tissues relieving sore and achy muscles.

 

Massage Cupping

 

Massage Cupping is an ancient Chinese form of alternative medcine using a suction on the skin. This type of massage is non-invasive technique that can achieve powerful results in treating a wide range of conditions

 

Trigger Point Therapy

Trigger Point Therapy can relieve muscular aches and pains associated with tiny knots that are developed in a muscle when it is injured or over worked.  These point are relieved by applying pressure to the trigger points and through streching excersizes.
